The Libby Ross Foundation Support Programs

Yoga Program for Breast Cancer Survivors offers weekly classes, extended Saturday quarterly classes, and three day retreats for survivors of breast cancer and other women's cancers. The Foundation has partnered with OM yoga center in New York to offer breast cancer survivors an opportunity to bond with other women who have had or who are currently being treated for the disease.

The Libby Ross Foundation Pink Ribbon Kit provides gift bags, distributed by trained volunteers, to women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The bags contain comfort items and self-help tools that women with cancer find helpful during treatment as well as valuable information on available resources, medical and emotional issues.

The OM yoga Challenge! 31 Classes in 31 Days

What IS the OM yoga Challenge?

Many spiritual paths have a traditional period of contemplation and recommitment to practice as a community. The idea of the OM yoga Challenge is to explore commitment, consistency, curiosity, connection, community and transformation.

In 31 days a lot can change -- with yoga those changes might include getting stronger, more flexible, improved sleep and digestion, uplifted moods and more! Who knows? Maybe for you just making a commitment and keeping it could be a big change! Whatever we think might happen, after 31 days of the OM yoga Challenge, we will all be surprised and learn a lot... about yoga and about ourselves!

This is how it works:
•Register with the front desk. Joining the Challenge is FREE but we want to know who's on the team!
•Come to an OM yoga asana class every day for 31 days
•Find out what happens...

OM for Breast Cancer

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month & OM yoga is encouraging yogis and yoginis to have their Challenge sponsored for charity.
To support the fight against breast cancer, OM has partnered with The Libby Ross Foundation, a not-for-profit organization which donates all its proceeds to actual breast cancer survivors.

Anyone can be a sponsor, and may pledge any amount for each class you take at OM during the month of October. If you attend all 31 days, OM will donate a portion of your monthly sale purchase to The Libby Ross Foundation. All contributions are tax deductible.

Download a pledge form here. For more information please email info@omyoga.com
