2010 Fall Three Day Yoga Retreat

Wild Dunes Resort
Isle of Palms, SC

35 Participants joined us for this unique healing opportunity that included gentle and restorative yoga classes taught by Tari Prinster, Yoga Program Director and Principal LRF Yoga Teacher and Pamela Meriwether, LRF Yoga Program Teacher. We offered panel discussions with well informed and knowledgeable speakers as well as relaxation and pampering in a lovely nature filled oasis.

Retreat participants traveled to South Carolina to stay at Wild Dunes, which is located less than 30 minutes from the charm and grace of historic Charleston. The resort is nestled on the northern tip of Isle of Palms, a lush barrier island off the coast of South Carolina. Participants were only responsible for the cost of accommodations and individual travel costs that were arranged by the Foundation and Wild Dunes. Meals were included and provided by Wild Dunes.

Pose for Pink Yoga Class with Zobha & PURE Yoga East!

On October 24th PURE Yoga East hosted a special class benefiting the LRBCF Pose for Pink Yoga Program. The event was sponsored by Zobha and each participant received a limited edition Pink Zobha top in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. This special yoga class was open to all levels and ages, and taught by top instructor Kay Kay Clivio, a Zobha Circle of Grace member and internationally experienced teacher. All proceeds benefitted the expansion of our Pose for Pink Yoga Program, and the suggested donation was $40.00 for the class.

Connect for the Cause Yoga-thon

The Libby Ross Foundation and Swarovski North America held the Spring 2010 Three Day Yoga Retreat for Breast Cancer Survivors at the Asilomar Conference Grounds® in Monterey California on May 21st - May 23rd, 2010.

Asilomar is known as Monterey Peninsula's "Refuge by the Sea" is located on 107 acres of protected beachfront land, within the quaint and scenic town of Pacific Grove. Nestled along the shoreline of California's famed Monterey Peninsula, Asilomar is a serene ocean front retreat cradled by forests and white sand beaches.

Thirty-five amazing women's cancers survivors joined the Foundation for this unique healing opportunity that included gentle and restorative yoga classes taught by specially trained yoga instructors, a panel of knowledge presenters, as well as relaxation and pampering in a lovely nature filled oasis. We were honored to have the below key speakers share their vast knowledge with the participants at the retreat:
