Meet Our Team

Founders

Lori E. Ross
Lori E. Ross is a founding member of The Libby Ross Foundation and has served as its Chairman since inception in 1999. The Libby Ross Foundation was founded in loving memory of Lori’s mother, Elizabeth “Libby” Ross who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1998.

Over the last ten years, Ms. Ross has used her extensive experience working with charitable organizations to educate and promote research, early detection, and treatment of breast cancer. Lori’s vast communication skills have enabled her to organize and supervise successful fund-raising events that have positively impacted the lives of thousands of breast cancer survivors. Through her compassion and desire to help others, Lori has created two unique support programs based in New York that benefit women who have been diagnosed with the disease. The Pink Ribbon Kit Program and The Yoga Program provide valuable resources, emotional support, and a sense of healing and well-being to the breast cancer community.

Ms. Ross has been actively involved in such charities as The Marc Buoniconti Fund, American Athletics with Disabilities, Girls Scouts of Northern New Jersey, The American Red Cross, and The Alan T. Brown Foundation, and she has served on the advisory board for Cancer 101.

Lori was named NY1 New Yorker of the Week in 2006 and has been featured in on-air press pieces in New York City and numerous other network affiliates, and University of South Carolina Sports Radio.

While tirelessly furthering the Foundation and its mission, Lori maintains a position with HBMJ Consulting LLC in New York. She was previously employed at the Trammell Crow Company and has widespread experience working with commercial real estate properties. When she relocated to New York from South Carolina she served as a model for Wilhelmina and IMG Models.

Lori attended the University of South Carolina, where she majored in criminal justice, and resides in New Jersey.
